I was a victim. A poor, fatherless, single-teen mom'd, little boy with the world out to get him. I took pride in overcoming what I so heavily identified with. I carried this energy with me my whole life. The universe cried, "if you think the world is against you, then it shall be against you". Little did I know, that my thoughts were shaping my reality. I was miserable in my career, I couldn't find healthy relationships, I resented my mother for the life we had, I was angry at my father for leaving me, and I felt that the world itself was coming to an end. I was truly lost, and praying to be found.

My suffering became unbearable, to the point of ending it all. They say, "to know yourself, you must first know what you are not".
